Motorola: World’s Slimmest Military-Grade Smartphone, Everything you need to know

Motorola is set to launch another innovative smartphone, adding to its recent releases. The brand recently introduced the Moto G85, Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, and Motorola Razr 50 Ultra in India. Now, a new device has been teased, promising solid durability and a sleek design, and is available exclusively on Flipkart.

World’s Slimmest Military-Grade Phone

Motorola’s teaser video claims the upcoming smartphone is designed to endure the toughest conditions. It boasts the title of the world’s slimmest MIL-STD-810H-certified smartphone, ensuring it can withstand accidental drops, extreme temperatures, and humidity.

Features and Specifications

The new Motorola device will be only 7.68mm thick and feature an IP54 rating, providing resistance against dust and water. It is expected to have a large display with curved frames for a better grip. The back might feature a matte finish, common in many of Motorola’s recent models.

Leaks suggest that this could be the Motorola Edge 50 Neo, though official details are yet to be confirmed.

Possible Pricing and Comparison

If the new phone follows the pricing of its predecessor, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, it could be in a similar range of Rs 23,999. The Edge 40 Neo features a 6.55-inch pOLED curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate, an IP68 rating, and Wi-Fi 6e support, ideal for gaming.

Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7030 processor, the Edge 40 Neo includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32-megapixel front camera. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with a 68W fast charger and guarantees two OS upgrades along with three years of security updates.
