According to SamMobile, the One UI 7.0 beta will introduce several new features and enhancements:
- Redesigned Quick Panel: The panel will consist of two screens—control buttons and notifications—that users can view by swiping sideways.
- Hide Guarantee Tag: Users will have the option to hide the guarantee tag for a cleaner interface.
- Optimized Icons: Standard apps such as Camera, Clock, Contacts, Gallery, and Phone will feature 3D icons aligning with the Material U design language.
- Battery Level Animation: The battery level indicator will resemble a widget for better visibility.
- Rounded Notifications: Notifications will have a more rounded appearance for a modern look.
- Enhanced Continuity Feature: This improvement will allow nearby Samsung devices to seamlessly receive audio and video call notifications.
Availability Update
The One UI 7.0 beta will initially launch for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, including three models. The beta will be first available in South Korea, with subsequent releases in Germany, India, the UK, and the US. The update might also extend to the Galaxy S23 series.
