Jio users averaged 43.7GB of data a month in the June 2026 quarter, about 1.46GB a day, according to TelecomTalk‘s report of its results.
That is well ahead of Airtel at 34.4GB and Vi at 21.7GB per 4G and 5G user. Jio’s total traffic rose 26.9% to 69.4 billion GB, and it has about 28.5 crore 5G users.

Jio leads on data but not on revenue. Airtel earns ₹264 a user against Jio’s ₹215.6, even though its users consume less data. Jio’s ARPU rose 3.3% over the year, and its total subscribers reached 53.33 crore.
Use keeps rising, with Jio’s 5G base up 7.3 crore in 12 months.
