Vivo has officially announced the launch of the V40 series in India, scheduled for August 7, 2024, at 12:00 PM IST. The series includes the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro, both boasting impressive features and specifications.

• Camera: Zeiss 50 MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor with OIS, Zeiss 50 MP ultrawide camera, and Zeiss 50 MP Sony IMX816 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and 50x Zeiss Hyper Zoom. The selfie camera is also a Zeiss 50 MP sensor.
• Water Resistance: IP68 rating, capable of withstanding depths of up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

While the official prices will be revealed at the launch, it is expected that the Vivo V40 series will range between Rs 30,000 and Rs 45,000. This estimate is based on the global pricing and the previous models’ prices, with the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro launched at Rs 33,999 and Rs 41,999, respectively.
