YouTube Premium will bump up its prices across all subscription plans for individual, family, and student memberships in India. Already live on the website, the price hike is across prepaid subscriptions and recurring prepaid subscriptions.

YouTube Premium Pricing in India Updated

• Student Plan: Increased from Rs79 to Rs89 per month.
• One Month Subscription Plan: Increased from Rs 129 to Rs 149.
• Family Plan: From Rs 189 per month to a huge Rs 299 per month.
• Per Minute Prepaid Monthly: From Rs 139 to Rs 159.
• Quarterly Plan-prepaid: This was hiked from Rs. 399 to Rs. 459.
• Annual Prepaid Plan: from Rs 1290 to Rs 1490.

All in all, the increased price simply means that subscribers whose plans are due for renewal have to start paying at the new pricing. New users get a one-month free service before they are charged under the new pricing.
