Samsung has launched the Galaxy Watch 9 in India at ₹37,999 for the 40mm Bluetooth model, with a display that reaches 3,000 nits and Wear OS 7. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 launched at ₹64,999.
The Watch 9 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes, each with a Bluetooth and an LTE option. TelecomTalk reported the prices on July 23, 2026. One report, in Free Press Journal, listed the 40mm Bluetooth model at ₹38,999, so check the price before buying.

Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2 compared
Samsung lists the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform, shown as SDW6100 in its specifications, with 2GB of RAM. The Watch 9 has a full-colour always-on AMOLED display of 1.34 inches or 1.47 inches, with 32GB of storage and batteries of 390mAh or 445mAh depending on size. Colours are Cream and Graphite for 40mm, and Graphite and Silver for 44mm.
The Watch Ultra 2 has a larger 1.52-inch display that reaches 5,000 nits, 64GB of storage, and a choice of Titanium Silver or Titanium Gray. For durability, the Watch 9 has 5ATM water resistance, IP68 and MIL-STD-810H ratings.
Samsung is pitching the Watch 9 as an everyday health companion. New features on both watches include Vitals, which watches your baseline during sleep and alerts you to significant changes, a Heart Health Score, Daily Cardio Load for training guidance, a Fitness Index and Hearing alerts for unsafe noise. The sleep apnoea feature has also been updated. Feature availability can vary by market, so check what works in India, and treat these as wellness tools, not a medical diagnosis.
Samsung India’s launch offers included upgrade discounts, bank cashback, a ₹1,500 coupon for Samsung accessories and 24-month no-cost EMI, so ask what still applies. Buyers wanting a cheaper tracker can compare the Huawei Band 11 series, which starts at ₹3,999 and has a much longer claimed battery life.
Why it matters for accessory sellers
At this price, the buyer is usually a Samsung phone owner, so ask which phone they use before anything else. LTE models cost ₹4,000 more, so check that the customer really needs calling without their phone nearby. Straps and screen protectors are the natural add-ons.
