OnePlus invited selected OnePlus 15 series owners in India to a closed ColorOS 17 beta in August 2026, as it moves its phones from OxygenOS to ColorOS.

TelecomTalk said this is less of a change than it sounds, because ColorOS code already ran underneath OxygenOS. The interface differs only slightly.
